

This page is designed to teach you how to change your W95+ to boot up and shut down in 'X' mode. Conspiracy X Wallpaper is also available for your PC here. If you already know how to use your computer to the extent that you know how to change the boot up and shut down logos, then you can download one of the following zipped files an ignore the rest of the page. If not, there are instructions on installing these customizations below:

I. How to change your W95+ wallpaper: The first thing you need to do is dowload the wallpaper file onto your PC. After doing this, extract (save) the wp-conx.bmp file to your c:\window\ directory. This will add the Conspiracy X wallpaper to all the others that are on your PC already.
The next thing you need to do is adjust your PC's Settings (found in your Start menu). In Settings choose Control Panel, and then Display - this will bring up a window with multiple tabs for adjusting the way your Windows Desktop looks.
II. How to change your W95+ boot screens: The three screnes that will be effected by this are the one you see when you first boot up Windows, the screne that tells you Windows is shutting down, and the screen that tells you it is safe to turn your computer off. In order to ensure that you do not loose these files (as you will be replacing them) please take the time to back them up:
Now you are ready to install the customized Conspiracy X graphics. In order to do this, you need to dowload the logo files onto your PC. After doing this, extract (save) the:
