Eden Studios and Sol3 Records Cross-promotion

Eden is happy to announce that it has received two fine music samplers from Sol3 Records (www.sol3records.com), and will begin shipping them with direct and distributor orders.

Mystery Codex and In Between Blue

The first sampler includes five songs from In Between Blue's upcoming Eponymous CD. In Between Blue's words (www.inbetweenblue.com):

So... there was this boy in Germany who loved to sing. And there was this kid in New Mexico who played bass. Moved to L.A. and found each other. It was love at first sight. Almost. They discovered real music... Depeche Mode. David Bowie. Queen. Marlene Dietrich. Moved back east and In-between Blue was born. They found themselves a visionary new label that... just... gets it. Don't know Sol 3 Records yet? How about Sire Records? Blondie? Just a few of Richard Gottehrer's other little projects. After all that, January 1999 is the big moment.. The wonderful new CD "In-between Blue". It's big. Therapy. For us all. In-between Blue is: Charles Amos-Bass David Cichowicz-Guitar Ryan Holiday-Vocals Aaron Potocny-Drums.

In Between Blue's sampler will ship with the first 50 website mail orders of Eden's first supplement for CJ Carella's WitchCraft, the Mystery Codex. The Codex includes new and revised rules, new character types (Spirits and Undead), new Covenants (Storm Dragons, Pariahs, and more), new Metaphysics (Disciplines of the Flesh, Tao-Chi, and more), and new supernatural threats. WitchCraft players of all types will find something to delight them in this single volume. Codex will also include all rule revisions presented in the revised Eden edition of the WitchCraft main rulebook. This means that those who bought the original version of WitchCraft need not buy the Eden version to continue playing (although we jovially urge all to do so, of course).
Mystery Codex should arrive from the printers in late February.

Bodyguard of Lies: Synergy and Mankind Liberation Front

The second sampler is a tape casette with five songs from Mankind Liberation Front's self-titled debut CD, including Center of the Universe and Karma Konvention. As detailed on the MLF website (www.alphastate.com/mlf):

"MLF" IDENTIFIED IN EUROPEAN CROP CIRCLE EPIDEMIC LONDON, England (AP) -- Researchers from the National Institute of Science located in North Hampton, England have detected a common thread in the crop circle epidemic which has been destroying valuable farmland across Eastern Europe for the last several months. Randi Greenberg, head of the research team that investigated the strange phenomenon, revealed in a comprehensive report published last week in the Journal Of Scientific Research, that the letters M, L and F appear in nearly seventy percent of the crop circles and in almost every case all three letters appear together in the sequence MLF.
Crop Circles are unusual phenomena that have sparked debate among experts and civilians alike, evoking explanations ranging from mere college stunts to paranormal activities to extraterrestrial origins. "This particular rash is intriguing not only because of the high numbers but also because of the curious MLF alieoglyphics," explained Greenberg at a press conference held in Brussels, Belgium to deliver the new findings.
Although the report does not identify the origin of these crop circles it does suggest a correlation to the "Center Of The Universe" debate that has been raging in the scientific community over the last several years.

The MLF tape sampler will ship with all website mail orders and distributor pre-orders of Bodyguard of Lies: Synergy. The Synergy mission marks a departure from previous ones because the Cell is called on to visit several cities all across the USA. The adventure contains a number of feints and twists and is intended to exercise the player's minds, as well as the character's talents. Synergy is authored by Suzanne Haggett-Johnson, and she has included a number of player handouts to make the whole thing more fun. As usual, the issue of Bodyguard of Lies will include additional background and rule material for the Conspiracy X RPG.
BoL: Synergy should arrive from the printer in late-February, and be on retailer shelves by March.
